Fattoria AL FIORE is a small winery in Miyagi prefecture. Established in 2015 the winery is run by Husband and wife team Hirotaka and Reina Meguro. Every year they produce around 15,000 bottles and each label is dyed using persimmon fruit and is numbered by hand.
A full bodied wine with plenty of alcohol and a honey-like thickness. Slightly dry, crisp and lean with a good amount of old oak nuances. Pairs well with eggs benny, grilled veal chops, fish and summer vegetables (red peppers, corn, butternut squash and pumpkin). Definitely a favourite for brunch time with friends!
Serving tip – Straight out of the chiller and glug glug.
